A demo account lets you explore the platform and practise trading using virtual funds. It’s designed to help you understand how orders are placed, how charts and tools work, and how to manage positions – all in a risk-free environment.
However, demo trading operates under simulated conditions, which means it may differ from live trading in certain ways. For example, order execution in a demo account may be instant or filled at displayed prices (‘at touch’), whereas in a live environment, larger orders may be filled at different levels within the order book or only partially.
The demo account is intended as an educational tool to familiarise yourself with the platform, not to replicate the exact market execution or liquidity you would experience when trading live.
